The most widespread form of the symbol is that of a symmetrical hand: the middle finger in the center; on its sides the ring finger and index finger, a little shorter than the heart and equal to each other; and at the ends two thumbs, also of the same size and somewhat curved outwards. Sometimes it contains other symbols, such as the eye of God, and inscriptions of a religious nature.

It typically has the shape of an amulet (used in earrings or as a pendant), visible on the doors of houses as a home decoration.
