Benzoin is a resin that is obtained by making incisions in the bark of the tree. The benzoin tree originally comes from the interior of eastern India and Brazil. The resin has a penetrating smell and is generally used in perfumes, cosmetic products and, naturally, also for incense burners.

Many combinations can be made with benzoin: for example, together with cinnamon, to attract success in business.

To purify rooms, benzoin can be added to purification herbs: thyme, verbena, etc. giving good results to many people. It can also be used by depositing a small amount in the bag or box where we keep our talismans or amulets, thus preserving them from possible bad influences.
